Kashaf is a 10 year old girl whose legs were paralysed when she was only a year old. After seeking treatment in various places all over Pakistan, her parents finally turned to Indus Hospital. They had almost lost hope for their daughter being able to walk again on her own. She hails all the way from Zahir Pir in Punjab. Doctors performed a complex surgery on her after which she was kept under observation for weeks. But the cheerful 10 year old is now on her way to recovery. Kashaf is a student of 3rd grade and can be found smiling all the time! And one of the reasons behind this smile is her excitement at the prospect of walking on her own once more and being able to play cricket with her brothers!
